FOUNDATION DOCUMENT of
L. G. White World of Art Association (LGW)
/PORTIONS/
Part I. The mission of LGW:
1. To assure the way for the European artistic values to flow freely towards those who like arts („art lovers”):
Because of its complexity LGW can popularize European works of art effectively in all social classes.
The primary goal is to extend the sphere of art lovers. Belonging to this sphere (or group) is to be a special experience – provided by LGW.
2. To raise and preserve a new generation who are interested in and affected towards arts:
The above mentioned art lovers' children are given opportunities by LGW where they can acquire and deepen the thought that real values hide in originality. For this LGW organizes educational art camps (through transnational exchange programmes) with the leadership of LGW’s artists and other experts. The long-term aim is to develop families who care about themselves and their surroundings – who are sensitive to goodness, beauty and arts.
LGW’s motto, „Original from the Original” reflects the importance of paying attention to things that come directly from the artist.
3. To eliminate the false notion that loving arts is a privilege:
The LGW program is solely built on deep human values, which we are to advocate widely in our society. All humans have the right to hold on to beauty and originality. Nevertheless, the LGW program is free from any political or religious views.
4. To improve the financial situation of Europe’s artists:
LGW undertakes passing the works of art to the sphere of art lovers through personal, flexible ways of contact – in different target groups of the whole European Union (such as children, elderly homes, etc.). This way LGW makes the relationship between artist and art lover dynamic and more effective.
LGW carries out all its work free from any political or religious views.
5. According to the Hungarian law of 1997. CLVI. Tv. 26. § c. the most important spheres of activity for LGW are the following:
